In the field of new energy vehicles, the functionality and environmental requirements of automotive electronics are undergoing significant changes. This transformation is primarily driven by three major trends: autonomous driving, connected vehicle networks, and the increasing number of electric vehicles. As the core component of these electronic systems, automotive PCB are not only the interconnecting parts between devices but also the critical carriers for running some electronic programs within the car, which sets higher performance requirements for automotive PCB.

In an autonomous driving car powered by hundreds of volts, the reliable operation of PCB is crucial. Automotive PCB are influenced by environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and vibration loads during their service life. Considering the electrical properties of the PCB substrate, it is necessary to take into account production errors and environmental impacts, for instance, temperature and humidity can affect electrical performance. During the thermal aging process, the relative permittivity and dielectric loss of the material decrease, but the permittivity increases with the increase of moisture content in epoxy resin materials.
