Today, we will learn about the different categories of copper foil.
1. Thick Copper Foil: With a thickness of ≥70μm, suitable for applications requiring a thicker conductive layer.
2. Conventional Thickness Copper Foil: With a thickness between 18μm and 70μm, the most common range of copper foil thickness.
3. Thin Copper Foil: With a thickness between 12μm and 18μm, suitable for lightweight design.
4. Ultra-Thin Copper Foil: With a thickness of <12μm, used in occasions where extreme thickness requirements are necessary.
5. Single-Sided Treated Copper Foil: One side rough, the other side smooth, suitable for specific single-sided adhesion needs.
6. Double-Sided Treated Copper Foil: Both sides are rough, enhancing the binding force with the substrate.
7. Smooth Surface Treated Copper Foil: Both sides are smooth, suitable for applications requiring high smoothness.
8. Double-Sided Bright Copper Foil: Both sides are specially treated to improve brightness.
In the Next article, we will learn other categories of copper foil.
